Theme: 25: Celebrate!
Next year’s theme has been chosen in honour of the 25th anniversary of geocaching. Whether it’s quarters, silver anniversaries, or celebrations in general, we can’t wait to see what caches come from this theme. What does that mean to you? Whatever you want, but here is some inspiration to get you started:
Quarter(s) Quest: Embark on an exciting quest to hide or find caches with a quarter theme, celebrating 25 years of geocaching in a fun and creative way.
Silver Signals: Commemorate Geocaching’s silver anniversary by hiding or finding caches adorned with a silver theme, including shiny containers and special “silver” geocoins.
Celebrate Caching: Bring the party to geocaching! Whether it’s with vibrant decorations, lively music, or festive activities, we can’t wait to see your unique take on celebrating this incredible milestone.

- Thursday, February 22, 2025 Cache submission deadline to be included in CARW2025
- Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 18:00 hours – Cache Publication Time
- Thursday, February 27, 2025 – Kick-off Event
- Friday, February 28, 2025 – Puzzle Solving Event
- Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 09:00 hours – Cache finding begins
- Sunday, March 2, 2025 – Finders Wrap-up Event
- Friday, March 7, 2025 at 18:00 hours – online voting closes
- Saturday, March 8 or Sunday March 9, 2025 – Hiders Wrap-up
